Tawa Fish Fry....

As the name suggests Tawa fish fry is a pan fried fish using little oil on medium low flame. Often I make this fish fry at home and it is loved by all.. A crispy, mouthwatering and delicious fish fry just for you... You would want to make it again and again. Try at home and let me know the result... :)

Ingredients:
Fish of your choice (I used Leather Jacket) - Half Kg

For marinating:
1 teaspoon chilly powder
Half teaspoon coriander powder
Half teaspoon cumin powder
Half teaspoon pepper powder
Half teaspoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
Half teaspoon corn flour
Half teaspoon rice flour
1 tablespoon tamarind extract
Salt to taste

Method:
Wash and clean the fish and place in colander, let the water drain off completely. Keep aside.

Now mix the spices one by one and add little water and make a thick paste.

Take the fish from the colander and make deep cuts throughout on the skin so that the masala reach the flesh of the fish

Now rub the masala paste on both the sides of the fish. Marinate in a refrigerator for maximum 8 hrs or minimum 2 hrs.

Heat oil in a tawa and place the fish and fry the fish on both the sides on medium-low heat till done.

Squeeze the lemon juice and serve hot.
